Psalm 40:1-3
King James Version (KJV)
I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
Waiting patiently is never an easy thing. We want what we want, and we want it now. We make our pleas to God and pray that it is in his will to make this change in our lives. This is on my heart today.
I’m waiting, I’m praying, I’m trusting in you Lord. You know the deepest desires of my heart and that what I’m asking is for a miracle that only you can provide. You have given me hope while I wait. Those bits of hope make me excited, and help me to not give up. My hopeful spirit wanes some days and I beg of you that much harder, but I know that it is all in your time. I know that you have a plan, and that since it is such a big thing that you have brought me to even ask for this, I know that you are working on me, and can take this to the next level.
I will trust in you always, as I wait for your help. Amen.
